Lecture “AI and healthcare”
04-08 LECTURE:
The very evolutionary history of medicine and health sciences is rooted in the utilization of technology: indeed, technology shaped the transformation from ancient to modern medicine, and then the emergence of evidence-based practices as well. It is possible that such a profound transformation is happening again with Artificial Intelligence, but it is paramount to understand the challenges technology has to face to achieve desirable implementation in the healthcare field.
