Students Invited to Participate in the Conference “Freedom to Create 2026”
On May 8, 2026, the University will host the fifth annual student conference “Freedom to Create 2026.”
This year’s conference theme — “From Defenders of Freedom to Creators of Freedom” — invites students to reflect on what it means for today’s generation not only to protect freedom, but also to actively create it. The conference aims to provide a space for discussing freedom not as an abstract value, but as an everyday responsibility and a conscious choice.
Students from all study fields and study cycles are invited to participate by giving presentations, presenting creative work, or moderating conference sessions. Contributions may be prepared individually or collaboratively in groups.
Proposed presentations or creative works are expected to relate to one of the following conference subthemes:
- The university as a space for creativity and art
- Creativity and technology
- Solutions to business and social challenges
- The individual, community, and society
- Nature in the hands of a scientist
- Diversity of languages, cultures, and ideas
- Sustainable development and leadership in education
- The possibilities and limits of freedom in politics, law, and communication
- Sport, physical activity, and well-being as a value-based foundation
More information about the conference, as well as the registration form, is available here. Registration is open until April 2.
